"This work is like a thousand raindrops on a tree."
Qigong has been called the Grandparent of Tai Chi, the energy source of all movement and information of the “Three Jewels” - Heaven, Earth and the Self. Your hands and their movements will take on new meaning through the use of ‘mudras’, ancient ways of forming shapes which direct energy through the body and in turn through the stars and all life on Earth. Through these teachings we become more inter-related with our origins, our purpose and our relationship with everything. This is our life, our Earth Walk.
In this workshop you will:
¨ Receive teachings for reducing & deactivating stress
¨ Learn the unique teachings of Celtic Wisdom about honoring life, death and
nature’s elements
¨ Learn to cultivate a sense of humor about the absurd.
Nadiya will teach you how to cultivate a new way of being in connection with Water, Plants, Trees, and Stars as well as seeing our work, food, and shelter in a new light. Irish prose and poetry are invoked to help us re-work old language patterns and ways of ‘seeing our world’. Nadiya’s work is grounded in the ancient Celtic notion of “becoming the tree” which shares deep similarities with Taoism and the original teachings of Qigong.
